Greybull offers many "off the map" attractions which offer unique experiences not seen anywhere else. Plan a day to stay in the Greybull area to explore them for yourself.  Just ask us and we will tell you what drives us to call Greybull home.

Shell Falls - located 11 miles northeast of Shell, on U.S. Highway 14. Main attractions are spectacular Shell Falls and Shell Canyon and billions of years of geology. Restrooms and information, national recreation trail, interpretive signs and the world-famous singing Forest Service Interpreters.

Big Horn National Forest - Located in north-central Wyoming, the Big Horn Mountains are a sister range of the Rocky Mountains. Conveniently located half-way between Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park, the Big Horns are a great vacation destination in themselves.

Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite - At BLM's Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite, you can imagine yourself walking along an ocean shoreline 167 million years ago with dozens of other dinosaurs, looking to pick up a bite of lunch from what washed up on the last high tide. The ground is soft and your feet sink down in the thick ooze, leaving a clear footprint with every step you take.

Devil's Kitchen - Located five miles east of Greybull, colorful eerie exposed rock formations are part of the Cloverly Formation, a 125- to 11-million year-old sequence of colorful sediments containing important dinosaur remains. A walking or hiking tour will reveal fascinating and picturesque “Badland” spires and weathered hills.

Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site - The Medicine Lodge Area consists of 12,100 acres, at an altitude of 4800 ft. It can be reached via Hwy 31 east of Manderson. This lodge was popular for its Indian petroglyphs and pictographs.

Museum of Flight and Aerial Firefighting - North of town 1 mile, US Hwy. 20. South Bighorn County Airport

Other Attractions include Kirwin Ghost Town, Chief Joseph Highway, Beartooth Pass, Cody, Red Lodge, Big Horn Canyon National Recreation Area, and last but more well known Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park.
